Our Mission
The STARS Resale Shop operates entirely on the generous donations from our community. Every dollar raised stays here in Wheaton, supporting STARS Family Services, particularly in maintaining permanent residential homes for our STARS. The success of our first home, 'Washington House,' is a testament to God's faithfulness. With 39 STARS identified as needing housing in the next five years, your generosity has already made it possible to build and operate Hooten House for women and Kenny's House for men.

Our STARS partners are a vital part to our team. Through a job skills program, they dedicate 4-hour shifts daily to ensure our customers receive an unparalleled experience. They not only manage bringing in donations and keeping the store tidy but also hang every piece of clothing in our shop. Visit us, and you'll witness the heartbeat of our ministry in action.
Our Impact
For more than fifty years, the STARS Ministry of College Church in Wheaton has come alongside people with developmental disabilities, ministering to them and their families with the love of Jesus. Today, more than 130 families are involved in various aspects of the STARS ministry.
